Results from field trials

Here we collect the results from the field trials that have been carried out so far. Through standardized tests and structured data collection, we get a clear and comparable picture of how SILVIVO® works in different environments, soil types and planting situations.

First results from the SILVIVO® model are ready

In 2026, some of Sweden’s most knowledgeable and committed forest owners will have tested SILVIVO® on their own land. Now the first results are starting to come in.

The experiments are carried out according to the SILVIVO model, where SILVIVO-treated® seedlings are compared with untreated control seedlings. The seedlings are followed up with a focus on, among other things, survival and growth.

The aim has been to build more knowledge about how SILVIVO® works under different conditions, on different soils, in different parts of the country and in real planting situations.

We are deeply grateful for the time, knowledge and accuracy that the participants have put into the trials. This makes it possible to follow the development of the plants and gradually build solid knowledge of how SILVIVO® works in practice.

Are you a forest owner at the forefront?

– Test SILVIVO® in your own forest

SILVIVO® is looking for curious forest owners at the forefront who want to carry out field tests and get concrete, measurable results from their own land. We welcome participants from all over the country, with different soils, climates and regeneration strategies. The number of places is limited.

Registration is now closed for 2026

We would like to extend a big and warm thank you to all of you forest owners who have shown interest in our field trials with SILVIVO®. It is with great joy and humility that we note that we have now received enough expressions of interest for 2026. It means a lot to us that so many people want to be involved and contribute to the development of knowledge.
